Through a series of clues and clever deductions by Brainiac 5, the Legion uncovers the shocking truth: Nemesis Kid is the mole. He had joined the Legion under false pretenses, working as a spy for the Khunds to undermine their defenses. Nemesis Kid's power to adapt to any threat gives him a dangerous edge, but the Legion bands together to expose and defeat him.
In the climactic battle, Nemesis Kid flees rather than face capture, but his betrayal leaves a lasting impact on the team.
