Title: "The True Identity of Starfinger!"
Published: September 1965
Writer: Edmond Hamilton
Artist: John Forte
Estimated Grade:  3.0 (cover loosely attached at both staples)

Synopsis:
Following the mysterious attacks in the previous issue, the Legion of Super-Heroes remains on high alert, determined to uncover the secret behind the villain Starfinger and put an end to his reign of terror. As Starfinger continues his destructive spree across the galaxy, his demands for wealth and resources escalate, threatening entire star systems.

Saturn Girl uses her telepathic abilities to search for clues, while Brainiac 5 devises a plan to track Starfinger's movements. Meanwhile, tension grows within the Legion as suspicion falls on Lightning Lad, whose actions during Starfinger's attacks seem increasingly suspicious. Could one of their own truly be aiding the villain?

The Legion eventually discovers that Lightning Lad has been manipulated through hypnosis by Dr. Lars Hanscom, a respected scientist who is secretly Starfinger. Hanscom created the Starfinger persona and the technologically advanced glove to carry out his plans for wealth and power while using Lightning Lad as a pawn to deflect suspicion.

In a dramatic final showdown, the Legion confronts Hanscom in his lair. Working together, they disable his glove and expose his identity, freeing Lightning Lad from his control. With Hanscom captured, the Legion reflects on the importance of trust and vigilance in the face of betrayal.

Adventure Comics #336 is a thrilling continuation and conclusion to the Starfinger arc, solidifying the villain's place in Legion history while delivering an engaging story about loyalty and teamwork.
