Writer: Edmond Hamilton
Artist: John Forte
Estimated Grade: 3.0 (GD/VG)

Synopsis:
The Legion of Super-Heroes is torn apart when a mysterious force divides the team, inciting an internal conflict that threatens to destroy them from within. The story begins when a powerful and enigmatic villain, Fandral the Conqueror, manipulates the Legionnaires into taking opposing sides on a seemingly trivial matter, sparking a civil war.

The dispute quickly escalates as the Legion splits into two factions, each convinced they are in the right. Long-time friends turn against one another, and the team's unity crumbles. Fandral uses advanced technology to intensify the divide, exploiting the team's individual weaknesses and sowing mistrust.

Superboy, sensing something amiss, investigates the root cause of the conflict. With the help of Brainiac 5’s brilliant deductive skills and Saturn Girl’s telepathic abilities, he uncovers Fandral's influence and learns of his plan to destroy the Legion from within so he can conquer the galaxy unopposed.

In a dramatic climax, the Legion sets aside their differences and works together to defeat Fandral, breaking free from his control. The experience serves as a powerful reminder of the importance of unity and teamwork, even in the face of manipulation and adversity.

The story ends with the Legion reaffirming their bond and vowing to remain vigilant against forces that would divide them.

Adventure Comics #333 is a compelling exploration of trust and teamwork, with a focus on the vulnerabilities of even the strongest heroes when pitted against one another.
