Adventure Comics #332
*Title: "The Super-Moby Dick of Space!"*
Published: May 1965
Writer: Edmond Hamilton
Artist: John Forte

Synopsis:
The Legion of Super-Heroes encounters a terrifying cosmic menace in the form of an enormous, energy-eating space creature resembling a whale, nicknamed the **Super-Moby Dick of Space**. The story begins with the Legion responding to reports of a giant beast attacking spacecraft. During a confrontation, the creature sprays Ultra Boy with a mysterious substance, causing him to lose control of his superpowers.

Stricken by guilt after the attack, Ultra Boy swears to capture and defeat the creature, even as it continues its rampage. However, his obsession mirrors Captain Ahab's from the classic "Moby Dick," and it begins to strain his relationships with his teammates.

As the Legion works together to stop the monster, they discover that its appetite for energy is growing rapidly, threatening the stability of nearby planets. The team devises a plan to lure the creature into a trap using a massive energy source as bait. Ultra Boy, still determined to redeem himself, takes a leading role in the dangerous mission.

In the end, the Legion successfully neutralizes the creature by containing it within a giant energy shield. Ultra Boy regains his confidence, realizing the importance of teamwork and humility. The story concludes with the Legion reaffirming their commitment to protecting the galaxy together.

This issue is a classic Legion adventure that blends science fiction with literary inspiration, offering action-packed drama and character development, particularly for Ultra Boy.
